Saw minke whales off Hut Point this evening. A lot of the ice has been blown out into the channel that the icebreaker made so the whales have co
me close to McMurdo. The tanker ship arrives tomorrow and the bars all close while the sailors are in town.Also got a good picture of a skua flying around us while we were watching the whales. There was one lone Adelie penguin wandering around too.
